I was asked by Bettery Magazine, what illuminates the soul of the city for me.
Instead of choosing my favorite streetshot or building shot, I actually tried hard to answer that question.
With that quest in mind, I took the camera with me for at least a couple of days only looking for that moment where my version of that answer would appear. It was short after sunset when I still decided to load that last roll of film I had with me. 100iso wasn’t a lot, when you consider I had a f5.6 65mm lens only available on the Fuji GSW690II.
Also to me it was difficult since I usually criticize or simply document what is happening in front of me. So taking a photo that simply conveys that positivity, that “thing” that illuminates the soul of the city on purpose was quite tricky I admit.
Here is a link to the ongoing vote with all the other photographic answers: http://betterymagazine.com/stories/voting-vienna/
I hope some of you find their way to the vote and chose whatever you like most.
